FRANK BRÜMMEL

I am an artist with a background as craftsperson. Born in Germany I now live and work in Turku and Helsinki, Finland.

I am working on the complex interplay of inscriptions, space, and the concept of place. With stone remaining in a narrative of a place and inscriptions as territorial marking, I am looking to the ever-changing nature of engravings as a result of social relations, in time, and space.

And I do artistic research on sculpture as an

educational tool.
